You are a citizen of the EU, or European Economic Area (EEA), or Switzerland and you qualified outside the State of Ireland.
You will need to apply for recognition of your qualification with CORU, Ireland’s Health and Regulatory body for Health and Social Care Professionals.

Once you are registered with CORU and have your CORU registration number, you can then apply to become a member of Optometry Ireland.
NOTE: Without your CORU registration number you will not be eligible to apply for membership.
