Hours: Mon–Thurs 9:00 AM–6:00 PM, Fri 9:00 AM–2:30 PM (No weekends)

Are you a forward-thinking GOC-registered Dispensing Optician with experience in luxury eyewear retail and team leadership? We are seeking an ambitious and experienced Dispensing Optician / Optical Dispensary Manager to lead our high-end optical boutique in Hamilton, Bermuda.

You’ll be managing a well-established dispensary that serves 80–100 patients per day (clinical + retail), with a focus on high-touch service, premium products, and operational excellence.

The Role

  • Lead and develop a team of qualified opticians and sales associates
  • Oversee luxury frame buying and inventory strategy
  • Manage pricing, performance targets, and customer journey optimisation
  • Coordinate closely with our affiliated surfacing lab
  • Drive service excellence and manage complaints and remakes
  • Liaise with ownership and management to achieve financial KPIs
  • Represent the brand at industry events and direct social media initiatives

About You

  • Registered Dispensing Optician with the General Optical Council (GOC) or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in optical retail, with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role
  • Strong knowledge of luxury eyewear and customer service excellence
  • Competent in EHR/POS systems (e.g. Compulink, Optix, See20/20) and Microsoft Office
  • Confident in using data and technology to improve operations
  • Contact Lens certification and/or business qualifications (e.g., Retail Management) are desirable
  • ABO-NCLE or Master Optician certification (if U.S. trained) is a plus
