For anyone travelling to SILMO Paris this September, I wanted to share a lovely opportunity to connect with colleagues from across the international optical community.
The Optical Women’s Association (OWA) is hosting START STRONG, a complimentary breakfast and networking event on Saturday, 26 September from 8:30am–10:00am at The SILMO Club.
The morning is designed to give attendees a chance to connect, recharge and set themselves up for a busy day at SILMO. There will be a continental breakfast, networking and practical insights from industry leaders on how to get the most from a major international trade show.
Speakers include Amélie Morel, President of SILMO, Barbara Hébert Motz, Chief Marketing Officer at MOREL, and Tamara Johnson of New Look Vision Group, who will share perspectives from both the exhibitor and buyer sides of the show.
It is also a great opportunity to learn more about the OWA, its growing international community and how you can become involved. The invitation is open not only to OWA members, but to women, men, mentors and allies across the optical profession.
